November 4th // 7:30pm // Free
Mills College Greek Theatre or if rain, Mills College Concert Hall
5000 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, Ca.

We asked composers, performers, theorists based at Mills College to put together trios, quartets and all else with the intent to score one of Derek Jarman's Super-8 short films. Several of the films were originally scored by throbbing gristle, psychic tv and brian eno, while others are silent. We have attempted to match up the appropriate group for each film. The performers will receive a copy of the film they will score several weeks prior to the screening. The screening/performance will take place on friday Nov. 4th in the Greek Theater at Mills College, the perfect setting for such an event.
